![]() TexturePacker (texture atlas), PhysicsEditor (physics collision shapes). It’s currently not open source, but we’ll likely release the source once we have a chance to fix any major issues that arise with the public release and clean up the code. My iPod touch (covers iPod touch 4th and 5th generation running iOS 6). Saves profiles to make it easy to re-export when art changes.Calculates the frame dimensions automatically based on the animation content. The sprites.json file is the command line configuration the project will use. In the Assets folder you will find a sprites.json file and sprites folder. It's great because it will export the bounds of the images, trim excess alpha etc. It is similar to Zwoptex and can also create sprite sheets, but it also has some very convenient and amazing features. Exports a single sprite sheet image, or individual frames Anyways, I considered purchasing TexturePacker etc. ![]() Using texture atlases save memory by using a single texture for multiple sprites. We used an early version of Zoë to prep all of the animations for the Pirates Love Daisies game we released a few weeks ago, which let our illustration team work with a tool they felt comfortable with, using tweens, skeleton constraints, and graphic symbols. Zwoptex is a 2D sprite packing utility used to optimize sprites and pack them into efficient texture atlases. This means you can use Flash Pro to lay out your animations then very easily prep them for use with EaselJS and the HTML5 canvas element. Then, heres a new tool called Texture Packer. ![]() Alongside the release of EaselJS v0.3 we’re also releasing the first version of Zoë, a free Adobe AIR application for exporting SWF animations as sprite sheets (single images containing a grid of animation cells), including frame data for use with EaselJS.
